Exploring Myself I’ve been dreaming about traveling the world with an adventure-job-style approach. Creating life experiences that sparks both my physical and intellectual growth. That is where the question “What is your ultimate career goal?” remains unanswered. When I think about a career that is based on traveling, I image work as a Nurse, Tourist, or Travel Agent. I myself feel that I do not fall into any of those categories. My goal in life is fulfill my dream job of working with others and exploring the unknown of the world. To obtain a degree where I can not only work doing something I am passionate about and financially support myself while I do what I am inspired to do. I want to make something of myself and at the same time enjoy life. I see myself 5 years from now in Japan, Ukraine, or Alaska. Writing about my experiences and the moments of breathtaking sites I get to see throughout my journey. Unfortunately this type of job is categorized as a "Travel Writer", which I have came to realize can be difficult to support yourself even working fulltime. With international travel opportunities, multi-cultural training, and job satisfaction. I have looked into becoming a Traveling English Teacher. One of the biggest advantages of getting a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification is the chance to work abroad while being able to do what I really want to do on the side. I would love to give back to any given community with the skills and knowledge I would acquire being a English Teacher. To help others understand and apply my teachings to their everyday life. I want to show people that there are still teachers out there who want to assist you with whatever it is you need to learn and to propel ones self into a successful lifestyle he or she would like to attain. Being rewarded a scholarship will help me pursue my goal of becoming Teacher. It will be beneficial to my financial struggle paying for college as I can barely get by
