There are many ways in which war affects children and young people. It affects every aspect of their being from physical to psychological. Many children die or become very ill as a result of the physical effects of war. This is due to hospitals and health centres being destroyed and doctors and medical staff being killed or fleeing. Children are most vulnerable to diseases like diarrhoea, malaria and cholera. War has a huge impact on children’s education as war destroys industries and jobs. Parents may be forced to keep their children at home to look after their siblings whilst they go out to work forcing the children out of the education system. An education is the best way out of poverty and therefore is imperative for the development of children and young people. Children and young people suffer psychologically from war as they don’t really have an understanding of what is happening and why. It can affect their ability to establish healthy relationships with their peers or adults. Many children or young people turn to alcohol or drug misuse as a coping mechanism for the way they are feeling. They may have lost a family member or…

Maybe they should be moved to a safer place with less poverty. I still cannot believe that the Taliban are so heartless that they take away orphans. (82 words)…

Although they did not choose to fight, some people think they need to be held accountable.” These children knew exactly what they were doing and should not be excused from their actions…” Once their trust is earned, child soldiers can be easily manipulated. “Child soldiers are ideal,” a military commander from the African nation of Chad, told Human Rights Watch.”They don't complain, they don't expect to be paid-and if you tell them to kill they will kill.” Child soldiers should be granted amnesty because they just did what they were told to do.…

Once more, the three main icons key to helping child soldiers is we firstly need to be considerate and not let them wander off freely. Secondly, research must be done to find out how they feel about killing and what's going on around them. Are the passionate about such events, or do they despise them. And finally we must clarify what kind of state they’re in. Meaning the kind of schools in which they have been taught in. Are they being yelled at by a general, or simply being taught in a school. That is a very large number, however since then the number has decreased a lot. Germany, Greece, and neighboring countries have taken in refugees although they could be helping the eroding citizens inside the war-torn countries(Middle East aid history). When Farah returned from Germany with her new Prosthetic leg she had a big culture shock. She was shocked by Afghanistan's reality, was it really like this? Farah recalled the other sick kids in the hospital years ago when she was there. Thinking about how terrible the care is in Kabul. There truly shouldn't even be a place such as Kabul’s hospitals. The countries that helped in foreign aid long ago could help again now for less selfish reasons, such as improve the refugee’s countries themselves so the citizens can go live there happily and healthy. So they might not have to worry about dying from the flu or drinking water and getting a…
