Explain Why Students Should Be Given Better School Lunches
Preamble:
When in the course of life events, students should be served better lunches at school. They sit for and pay attention for almost 8 hours and we’re not even served healthy or good looking food. Usually school lunches look disgusting and makes students not want to eat it. Most students who don’t eat the lunch go the rest of the school day with an empty stomach roaring all the time which causes students to be unfocused. This is why us students should be given better school lunch so we are more concentrated in school and not about how hungry we are.

Declaration of Student Rights:
I believe that us students should be given better lunches at school. Would you like to be fed what we are being fed? I mean it’s just foods that's stored somewhere

How would a student feel if they knew that the USDA allowed the school to provide meals which could make them unhealthy, or even sick? Lunch, as most know, is a very important part of a student’s school day. The food eaten at lunch should provide enough energy to complete the school day as a focused, learning student, and, for some students, to get through after school activities such as athletics and clubs; however, it is being seen more and more often that this is not the case. Chatham County Schools needs to improve its school lunches because the quantity, quality, and cost ratios are inadequate for the success of their students.…

I believe that high schools should have open lunches. Students should be able to leave the school grounds and go to a fast food restaurant, or, if they choose should at least be able to go outside and eat. Students need to have a small break from school during the day, even if they are outside, they still can take their minds off of school work for a while. Students need to have fresh air and adequate sunlight. Fresh air and sunlight is a proven fact to help students in their studies and it also helps the students concentrate more. I understand that the school staff would not like the fact that the students would be able to leave campus without supervision. Are not the students in high school? Should we not have the responsibility to be able…

the question, why can’t students leave school for lunch? There are so many other places school cafeteria food doesn’t even compare to. If they were allowed to leave, they would have more lunch options, become more independent, and gain more social experience with the real world. Schools wouldn’t have to make as many lunches for kids which would allow them to make them higher quality. Students should be able to leave school for lunch so that they can eat healthier and become more independent. Imagine this, you walk into the cafeteria to find the smell of spaghetti, gross! You get a tray anyway. That's all that they have so it`s your only option. You only push the mushy noodles around the tray then throw it away once your lunch period is over. The next period you hear your stomach growl and wish you could have had another option at lunch. If schools provided more lunch options this problem would happen less or even disappear completely.…

School lunches lack healthy nutrients that growing children and teens need. Because, schools lack the proper funding needed to support students with healthy lunches, students have a horrible diet. A lot of people, including myself, believe that if healthy school lunches were provided students at home would make better choices when it came to what snacks they ate between meals. If schools got better funding for healthier lunches it could theoretically save the government more money because the students in turn would have less health problems.…
