Using the RFID chips in school is a bad idea because parents don't like that their kids are being used as guinea pigs to test the chip. They don't like that their kids privacy are being invaded. Have you been to a gym lately, or maybe had to get an ultrasound, went to the pool, theme park, or even a library? These locations all have something in common there were lockers or a cubby to store your things so you did not have to carry your stuff with you. School should allow for the students of District 8 the same curtesy. Children are still developing and to carry a heavy bag around daily can be damaging to the body. I am asking for reconsideration that lockers be put in the schools to maintain a student’s health, storage, and management of books and supplies.
