My first priority is I need the subject I am teaching to be learnt as well as possible to all my students/learners. I would identify what needs they might have other than just learning the material that is at hand. If one or another of the students is dyslexic this may involve handing

I would have to plan and prepare each individual learning element of the course and where relevant complete the appropriate risk assessments to allow the course to take place safely and ensure I have met my responsibilities under The Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974. If I need further guidance on this element I can contact the relevant health and safety department at my work, or contact the health and safety executive for more in depth guidance. I can obtain guidance on any elements of the course which I need further clarification on from specialist lecturers / professionals in that area enabling my information to be as accurate and up to date as possible. This may be from my own company or that of a company specialising in that area. Any information shared with other professionals would have to take into account security of information and safeguarding of necessary individuals. Depending on the students needs I would aim to provide guidance where needed so they could get the most out of this experience and take the skills learned forwards to their future endeavours. This could be done in person at one to one meetings to discuss progress, or via e-mail if it was out of hours and guidance was needed promptly. Boundaries to this might be the appropriateness of contact outside of these areas, such as Facebook or Twitter, which I feel would not be professional to use in this
