Explain The Goals And Objectives Of An Educational Project
An educational project is one of the many ways that the community could be assisted in making sure that they achieve healthy living and improve its standards of life. An educational plan in this case will be important to outline what should be done, the strategies that will be used and the expected health outcomes. Therefore, this paper will discuss the goals and objectives of the educational project. The paper will also include the manner in which the project will be implemented with regard to education, the budget, the justification of the project and the nursing interventions that are needed in order to make the project a success. To begin with, it is important that the goals and objectives of the project are laid out in a clear and concise manner. The goals and objectives will be with regard to the specifically targeted population in the project. They are the women, infants and children of the WIC project. For example, preventive medicine will be done where screening will be part of the process in a very huge way. In cases where participants are found to be at risk because of diseases associated an intervention will be recommended immediately. If early detection of a disease is made, clinicians will make sure that participants are given the right care and educated on how to manage their weight and diet. Early detection is good as it increases the chances of curing even chronic diseases (Lee, Huang & Zelen, 2004). Children and infants that are at risk of suffering from malnutrition because of lack of enough nutritious foods will also be taken care of. The outcomes of these clinical interventions will be ensuring that health issues associated with food and nutrition are taken care of immediately and early detection is established in order to prevent the problems from
