Exemplification Essay: Why Do People Attend College?
College is beneficial to people that attend college then the people that don’t, because it extends what people may or may not know about the careers they’re going into. If people don’t know certain procedures, they might be putting a company at risk. Everyone needs a refresher even if they think they know, because you never know what new and exciting things you might learn when you're in college. In school students are taught that college is everything, and without college only few will be able to make anything higher than minimum wage. Those people that say, “you don't need to go to college, look at Steve Jobs,”its easier said than done. I hate to say this but these are all excuses, and if you really want to go to college you would be trying to find a way there. Someone once said that, “If you really want to do something then, you’ll find a way,” this quote is completely true, because if you are determined to get what you want, you would be doing whatever it takes to get you to where you want to be. If it really does concern you, I'll tell a few thing that will help somewhat ease your mind. If you are afraid of not fitting in there are plenty of things to get you to fit in such as clubs, sports, and many other things. For those that are worried about money, here are many things to help you get money. For example FAFSA, grants, and scholarship these are all for people who need help with paying tuition for college. It might not totally eliminate the cost, but anything is better than nothing, right. Lastly for the people that it's not easy getting accepted for college because you have to have great grade and great this and that those are not necessarily true, grades aren't everything, if you're a hard worker and it shows that you are colleges aren’t just going to ignore that if anything it's going to give you an even greater chance to get into college.
