Executive Summary: The Criminal Justice Process
Within the criminal justice process I chose the arrest process. The arrest usually takes place when the officer arrest the suspect, but in some cases the suspect can be under arrest without physically being handcuffed or without being told that he/ or she is under arrest also without being placed in a law enforcement vehicle. Typically officers are known to read the suspect their Miranda rights upon arrest, but that is not necessary either upon the arrest. However, police officers are ask to read these rights for safety purposes to make sure that the prosecutor at hand has a smooth case.
