Spirit of a tree
“There are two kinds of person's lifestyle. The first one is to live as grass. Although you absorb the rain and sunshine, after all, you cannot become stronger. People can step on you without any guilt though you are painful, because you are taken seriously. Another is to live as a tree. When you grow into a towering tree, people far away will see you. They will want to approach you since you can give them a piece of shade under the hot sun or heavy rain.”

Biography
Yu Minhong, the founder and current CEO of New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc., is considered one of the twenty-five people that have great impact on China in the twenty-first century. As the owner of one of the largest private educational services, Yu is known as the "Godfather of English Training".

    In “Living Tree”, by Robert Morgan, the author describes the practice of burying the dead under a tree, which in turn nourishes it and continues the cycle of life. Memory and the passing of a legacy are concepts that can be observed throughout the poem. Life, death and rebirth is the theme of this poem, the idea that a person is more than a body, and can transcend the material realm and continue to live in the memory of future generations. This point is stated in lines 8,9, and 10, where he describes the transfer of the constituent components of his body to a tree.
