Executive Officer Identification Report
No matter my assignment, regardless of rank, I have always made a positive impact in this agency. I solve problems ahead of deadlines. I explore options that are unconventional. I do not believe in holding on to traditional methods for the sake of tradition, nor do I embrace change merely for the sake of change. I believe in doing what works best to solve a problem while remaining responsive to what other issues our solutions may create. I believe we are all part of a team, and as a servant leader, I must do my part to model the way for others while enabling them to fulfill their roles. I understand that our agency is part of larger community and embrace the idea that we are here to serve that community. I feel that no matter where I am …show more content…
In my time as Executive Officer, I have worked with five separate Division Commanders, each with their own leadership styles, strengths, and weaknesses. In observing them operate the Division, I have been able to develop a powerful skill set by seeing what works and what does not. Having honed these observations into workable skills over the last few years will allow me to deftly fill the role of Captain. On many occasions I have acted as Division Commander, most notably during a commander’s extended absence due to a medical issue. Having handled duties from both the Patrol and CRT sides of the Division, I have a complete understanding of how a Patrol Division operates. This includes budgetary considerations, staffing, personnel issues, logistical considerations, morale, monthly/quarterly reports, special projects, and significant event response. Other Divisions throughout the agency require their commanders to consider and address these same issues. Having already handled each of these facets myself, I will be well prepared to address them in the role of Captain wherever I am

    My name is Kaleigh Gonzales I’m a 15 year old sophomore and I’m running for the 2014-2015 officer position of reporter for Armwood High Schools FFA Chapter. I feel I should be selected for this position because not only am I a people person but I am also extremely organized.
