Step-by-Step Guide to Registering a Company in Qatar
Step 1: Name search
The name for the new business must be unique and not already registered as a trade mark at the Ministry of Business and Trade (MBT). To confirm this, you have to physically visit the
Commercial Registration section of the MBT and search for the specific company trade name. Time period: One day
Government fee: Nil

Step 02: Temporary Bank Account
Obtain a letter from the Ministry of Business and Trade (MBT) addressed to a bank in Qatar for opening a bank account. The account will be activated by the bank once the amount corresponding to the capital of the company is deposited. Time period: One day
Government fee: Nil
