Examples Of Power Abuse In Animal Farm
When a leader has too much power that power sometimes gets abused. In the book Animal Farm by George Orwell, there are some examples of power abuse. One of the example of power abuse is when the pigs do not actually have to work on the farm. The pigs make the other animals on the farm to do the work for them. Another example of power abuse is when every time when the leaders of the farm breaks a rule they make changes to the commandments. They make changes to the commandments because they do not want to be punished on the crimes that they committed.
The pigs never worked on the farm after they took over the farm. The pigs just supervised the other animals, “ The pigs did not actually work, but directed and supervised the others” (32).
