Examples Of Obstacles In The Odyssey
The Odyssey written by Homer shows many struggles you have to overcome. Like the characters in this story, I have had to overcome all the hours spent studying to be where I am. I will have to overcome college life too. Odysseus had to overcome several challenges too. Here’s a few.
Like Odysseus, I will have to overcome many temptations and struggles in my college life. One of these is deciding what is good for myself and my peers. Like how Odysseus had the choose between Scylla and Charybdis. I will have to choose what things to do and whether they will help or hurt people. “A second course lies between headlands.” (12.30-13)
Another one is staying loyal and persistent. I will have to stick with my job and with my husband exactly like Odysseus
