When I was fifteen years old, my mother found a lump in her breast. Of course, when this happened my family and I couldn’t help but be scared for the worst. There were all the consultations and scans to attend to prepare for the biopsy that would give us a diagnosis as well as a potential plan for the proper course of treatment.
