Examples Of Homeostasis Positive And Negative Feedback
There are two forms of homeostasis, positive feedback and negative feedback. The type of feedback which is most common is negative feedback. This works by making the levels that have changed return back to normal. Positive feedback is the least common type of feedback. This is where one component escalates to another which continues to escalate to another. In positive feedback the level of control the component does not return to normal straight away.
Negative feedback is usually what happens inside the body when the thing that needed regulating went back to normal again. This includes blood sugar and CO2 and O2 control.

Diabetes type one is the most common type of diabetes found in childhood and can occur anytime throughout a person’s life. If a person has this type of diabetes they have to take insulin injections to maintain a good level of insulin in the blood stream.
Water is found throughout every part of the body, including fat and muscle tissue. Two thirds of the fluid in the body is inside the cells this is called intercellular fluid. (ICF). With the other third being outside the cells, ECF (extracellular fluid). A body contains around 50-70 percent water which can be found in the blood, fat, bone and muscle tissue. Intercellular fluid allows the movement of important proteins, molecules and enzymes within a cell. Extracellular fluid contains a combination of interstitial fluid and plasma as well as transcellular fluid which makes around 2.5% of the ECF.
The balance of water in the body is maintained by making sure that the amount of water the body consumes in food and drink is equal to the amount of water that is excreted out of the body through sweating, faeces and breathing. This happens in the

    Homeostasis is simply how the body keeps conditions inside the same. It is described as the maintenance of a constant internal environment. Generally, the body is in homeostasis when its needs are met and it’s functioning properly. Every organ in the body contributes to homeostasis.
