Critical thinking

Critical thinking is analyzing and evaluating the information that one has. After evaluating the information one will have a clear view of what is the next step to make and will has a good judgment.

Critical thinking is related to nursing care and practice because one needs to have a clear view of the patient information to know what will be the next action to take. In nursing is critical that one understand all the patient information in order to take the correct decision since one is dealing with human lives.

For example, if and nurse is taking the vital signs of the patient and notice that the blood pressure is elevated but just little bit, should the nurse call the doctor as soon as possible or just keep checking the
