“If you cheat on someone that is willing to do anything for you, you actually cheated yourself out of true loyalty” (Unknown). The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is about how awful and gross cheating can become, and how you can easily get caught.

Doing something behind someone’s back can severely backfire because of the horrid things that someone has done which is unacceptable. Gatsby had a relationship with Daisy before Tom and Daisy were together. They were in love until Daisy and Tom met each other and got married. Both of them were together and in love for a long time, until Gatsby started to get with Daisy once again and then they were in a secret relationship, that Tom didn’t know about. Gatsby kissed Daisy behind Tom’s back
