Examples Of America's Gift To My Generation
America’s Gift to My Generation John Quincy Adams once said, “You will never know how much it has cost my generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it.” I believe what he is trying to explain is that our freedom’s price was far too costly for it not to be taken advantage of. His quote provided a sufficient amount of evidence for me to prove that freedom is a very generous gift from America. America’s gift to my generation is freedom because we have our very own rights,we have the benefit of a free education, and we have opportunities that most other countries don’t have.

Rights are a necessity to our freedom because without them we aren’t considered free. If it weren’t for different types of rights such as, human rights, women rights, due process, speech, we wouldn’t have liberty. Human rights are one of the most important type of rights because they inherent to all human beings no matter your race, age, gender, etcetera. It actually states that everyone has the right to life, freedom, and safety. A definition for rights is, a moral or legal entitlement to have or obtain something or to act in a certain way. In other words, you have certain legal freedoms that are unquestionable to anyone which I think is a gift that is irreplaceable.
