this issue then it would lead to a drastic decrease of this problem as we are the sole reasons for its existence.
5. Greenhouse gas emissions:
Issue- A greenhouse gas (sometimes abbreviated GHG) is a gas in an atmosphere that absorbs and emits radiation within the thermal infrared range. This process is the fundamental cause of the greenhouse effect. Reasons- Electricity production, industries, transportation, agriculture, commercial and residential waste. Remedies- Energy conservation, using alternatives, optimum utilization of resources, reduction on the dependency on machines that emit these harmful gases. Opinion- If this issue is not brought under control it would lead to the destruction of the planet very soon. Thus every Government must take sufficient measures in order to control the release of such gases into the environment.

Issue- Water scarcity is the lack of sufficient available water resources to meet the demands of water usage within a region. Reasons- Population expansion, urbanization, pollution, vegetation destruction, climate change. Remedies- Avoid wastage of water, regulation of water supply, optimum use of resources and usage of alternatives whenever possible. Opinion- As this is one of the major problem faced by Rural India, we must all take enough actions in order to ensure equal distribution and usage among various regions of the society.

Reasons- Lack of proper waste disposal systems, indifference among people when it comes to garbage, cultural forces (India). Remedies- Increasing the efficiency of waste management agencies in the country, increasing awareness among people on the effects of improper waste management.
