Evil and Character
Character Building
Respected Principle, teachers, participants and my dear fellows ASSLAM O ALAIKUM
Today the topic of my speech is "Character Building"

Building character to me is very important. The definition of character is the combination of qualities or features that distinguishes one person, group, or thing from another. Character is what makes one unique. Good character is good because people will respect you and treat you better as a person. There are many ways you can go about building character. For me, many ways I built character was playing sports while growing up, working on the farm, and working hard in the classroom. By doing those things while growing up they helped me become the good.

Building character isn’t just about getting people to follow what you do. It is also about helping people to become who they are and to make better decisions. If you help someone correct their wrong doings and guide them to make the right choices the next time around, you have given them initiative in their life. It’s not good enough just to go along with others, it’s just as important to make the decision on your own. And during your life you learn the basics and build up from them. You learn routine of life, the choreography, and formation. Once you have figured out what you have to do, it’s time to have others follow you so you can lead them in the direction of the right way.

At the end i want to decribe ‘’Character Building’’ through a famous quote.
Our character is but the stamp on our souls of the free choices of good and evil we have made through life.
Thank you for your kind attention. I am honored to be in your

The British naturalist and politician John Lubbock wrote, “Your character will be what you yourself choose to make it.” I agree with John Lubbock, because I believe we choose our character traits. We make decisions in our lives, some life changing decisions, some small irrelevant decisions, that could change our minds according to how we process our choices. Our personality affects our character heavily, our personality tells one everything about us. Our character is also affected by our ability to perceive things positively or negatively. I believe that we chose our character traits by the decisions that we make, our personality, and our ability to perceive things in a positive or a negative way.…

The basis of human nature and the way we interact with one another and ourselves throughout our lives is deeply connected with the idea of good and evil in the human speciescut? This reoccurring theme is seen in all religion, mythology, and modern day stories which all have the constant moral compass of straying from evil and relating to the good through actions and emotions. While it is believed by many that people's actions shape their internal identity, is that really the case? Ender's game raises this question with Peter symbolizing evil and portrays ultimate actions of good and Ender symbolizing good while portraying the actions of evil. With the toying of the readers perception of the stereotypical good and evil, Card proves in his writing…

Throughout literature there is a theme that seems to be constant, the protagonist against the antagonist, good versus evil. It is a theme that reoccurs throughout time because it provides the audience with an interesting conflict and reveals more about the true nature of humans. In Flannery O’Connor’s short story, “A Good Man is Hard to Find.” she exposes her audience to the veracity of human nature; through various rhetorical devices and the demeanor of her characters, O’Connor reveals a new perspective on good versus evil.…

In Shakespeare’s, Macbeth, the character lady Macbeth appears as an innocent woman, when in reality she is corrupt and evil, revealing that things are not always how they seem. As Lady Macbeth says “That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here, and fill me, from the crown to the toe, top-full of direst cruelty!” This shows how she is starting to fall apart. By Lady Macbeth wanting to completely change her sex also shows how she doesn’t feel complete being who she is and she feels the need to be more masculine. Lady Macbeth slowly shows how she is becoming more evil through the quote “My hands are of your colour, but I shame to wear a heart so white.” This represents how Lady Macbeth was able to get her hands bloody despite the evil murdering…

When most people think of character they often associate it with the idea of having to do the right thing. I on the other hand believe character is more than just doing what is morally righteous. Our experiences, obstacles and most importantly, passion define our true character. Passion establishes the difference between obligation or choice and giving up or persevering. Our actions result from the passion we choose to dedicate towards different aspects of our lives including school, work, extracurricular activities and community service. Everyone values these aspects differently and that is what allows for each of us to have our own unique character. I believe people have a more powerful influence when they have a true sense of passion for what they are doing.…

Abraham Lincoln once said, “Reputation is the shadow. Character is the tree.” This quote explains that our character is more than just what others may think of us, but it is who we are when nobody's watching. This means that having a good character is more than just being good around others, but being good because it is the right thing to do. I believe that to have a good character you must stay positive and always do the right thing. Throughout my life, I have gone through situations that have challenged my character. I went through periods where I wasn’t the best version of myself and I’ve gone through periods where I was better than I imagined I could be. This year is one of the good ones. I’ve learned that keeping a positive attitude not…

*Write Your Character- I chose this lesson because it states that we are not to let circumstances shape us, but instead build ourselves in character. It also states that combined with good habits and competence, character creates the building blocks for leadership. I feel that character is a large part of life. Luckily, I have two parents that have taught me my morals. Unfortunately, not everyone has had these instilled in their lives. Whenever I get a chance I make sure to help and show other people mine. When my friends are mean to others in school I tell them to treat others how you would like to be treated. As a student of High School I have noticed that there is a lot of bullying, whether by race, religion, ability to learn, or what “group” you are part of. I think this all needs to stop, even though some people may think it’s impossible to stop bullying from happening, I think it is…

People are not born with all of their characteristics. A person gains their character as he/she is growing up and experiencing new situations. When a child in kindergarten takes a crayon from a fellow peer, the teacher scolds him/her and tells the child that is not right. The teacher’s tone of voice and the negative experience of getting in trouble is an indicator to the child that what he/she did was wrong and shouldn’t be done again. Education plays an important role in building a child’s character. When children receive education, they are taught morals that will benefit them in the future, and they receive a sense of discernment.…
