In the beginning of the novel the author does a great job in capturing the readers attention with the first sentence which is "I wake up. Immediately I have to figure out who I am." and really hammers the question on what's going on and why the charters has to figure out who he is. the following sentences answers the question on what's going on with the character and the author grasps the attention of the reader.
