Evaluation Seminar 3 Casino Industry
The analysis of the domain is sufficiently narrowed and pointed out. The table gives general facts about the casino industry in the described domain and provides an overview of the environmental trends and their impact on the casino industry.

Competition:
Good facts mentioned which influence the casino industry. Concerning the political force, it does not really become clear why Japan is important here. How does this affect the domain (Europe)? More numbers could have been given in order to back up the value drivers and forces mentioned in the first row (data findings).

Buyers:
Content of this part is well described and explained. Some more numbers could increase the credibility of the findings and underline the facts more. Also the relation between the value drivers and the force is not clear most of the times.
Good research is shown.

Suppliers:
Again, numbers would have been good to back up the findings. Overall, good lines have been drawn between the value drivers and their influence on the Suppliers power. Still, the relating numbers should have been mentioned.

Substitutes:
The aspects mentioned in the boxes are important and are well related to the value drivers mentioned in the very left box. However, some more information could have been given (e.g. what exactly is the increase in power regarding technological aspects?).

New Entrants:
Eco-Friendliness (Pollution etc) could have been mentioned from the above data in the “ecological box”, as this will have an impact on new entrants (entry barrier is getting higher, thus threat of new entrants is decreasing). Otherwise an overall clear and precise picture of the new entrants’ evolution is given. Again, numbers which underline the given information are missing and would have increased the readers’ understanding.

In general, the paper shows good research backed up by reliable sources and data. A thorough and good level of research and analysis has been demonstrated. The domain was narrowed down in
