European Imperialism should be one of the most important event occur in our history.European global expansion had actually begun in the fifteenth century, but the process greatly accelerated in the nineteenth century.For the 300 years between 1500~1800 European Imperialism had occur in Africa. Also there was various of driving force behind it which changed our history.There were lots of driving force which led to European Imperialism . But I believe that the main driving force was Economic.
One of the driving force behind European Imperialism should be Economy.Europeans gained lots of benefits from making lots of colonies and one of the benefits were economy had improved a lot compare to before.As we could see in Document D European country had exported resources and used for Industrial and Economic uses. To illustrate, Most of the invention in this chart was invented 19th century and the uses of the inventions were to help europeans to make more african colonies. (Document C).Given the evidence, it is logical that because european wanted to have more colonies, European started to invent invention which would help them to invade africa. Which also means that technology had improved a lot since European Imperialism started.However, technology were able to improve because European’s economy were very solid. For example, Document E shows that Britain has gained lots of economic benefit from Imports and Exports from Africa.This evidence shows that because of economic bases were strong Europeans were able to improve technology. Also the disparity rate of the wealth between Africa and Europe were very apart ,which created a huge gap of technology between two continent.Which also means that if the economy wasn't very acceptable the technology were not able to
