I recently visited the “Transparency International” website on corruption and I found the website very interesting due to the information that they had on about corruption that is in the globe. I have found two topics that I enjoyed on the website. The two articles that I read are the oil and gas and the health section on the site. The first article that I read was about the corruption of gases and oils. The gas and oil companies would protect the identities of their equity holders and subsidiaries. Inadequate financial statements makes it easier to disguise corrupt deals and allows them to hide the royalties, taxes and fees they pay. The stolen oil and gas income got severe consequences including jail time and to pay legal fees including court and attorney fees. The second article that I read from the website is about the corruption of health.
Corruption in the health sector could mean the differences between life and death. It could cost the health services and insurance to raise the cost of the health rates. The
The government needs to detail the health budgets and the financial. In addition, the government needs to tackle counterfeit and fake drugs due to the side effects, dangerous chemicals that in the drugs, or unapproved substances from the government. I had learned some interesting points from the website because I know that they are corruptions are everywhere, but in section places that I would have not known that it would exists. Corruption is an abuse of power of something to commit fraud to cover up the wrong doing of something. This website had some help topics on what to do if a corruption occurs and what to do about it.
