Identify the Problem The rationale of why this interaction is an ethical issue correlates with Wilma inquiring if Donna had completed her homework from their last session. If Wilma had posed the question in her office during a counseling session with Donna the inquiry would be presented within the appropriate context. However, Wilma and Donna were not in the confines of the counselor’s office in a private setting. Unfortunately, Donna was working in a restaurant that Wilma and her friend decided to dine at.
