Estrogen: What Does It Means To Lose Weight
Women often have to work harder than men to lose weight. That is because men have higher levels of testosterone that causes them to have more muscle mass than women. And since muscle tissue helps to burn fat, they have a head start over women who have higher levels of estrogen instead. Estrogen gives women their fabulous curves, which are needed to support a baby through a healthy pregnancy. But it also makes them hold on to fat longer. And on top of that, the more fat a woman has, the higher her levels of estrogen will be because fat increases the production of estrogen. That doesn't mean that women can't succeed at maintaining a healthy weight though. The trick is to use the following diet and exercise tips.

Get Moving

Exercise is a crucial component to weight loss. It helps to increase the heart rate, so the body will burn more calories. It also increases lean muscle mass that is needed for fat burning. Walking is the easiest way to get enough exercise each day. It requires no special equipment, and it can be done just about anywhere without a gym. Doctors recommend that each person takes at least 10,000 steps per day. The best way to achieve this goal is by keeping a pedometer clipped to

That is because most meat and dairy products come from animals that are injected with estrogen to make them gain weight or produce more eggs and milk. The hormones from the animals are passed on to the humans that eat them. Vegans only eat plant-based foods though. So they have much healthier hormone levels that carnivores do. They also have a decreased risk for inflammation related diseases. Just be sure to limit the amount of soy products that you eat because soy beans can inflate estrogen levels if they are eaten too frequently. Choose almond or coconut milk, cheese, and yogurt instead. If you don't want to cut out meat-based products completely, then try limiting them to just small

So as you can see, there are many health factors that may be helpful to someone who is choosing this lifestyle. Spryliving.com gave research that says that going vegan reduces the risk of colon cancer, avoiding or reversing heart disease, any type of kidney disease can be reduced, constipation is decreased, or if you would like to make a dramatic change to your diet. From my experience, there are a lot of people that confuse being vegan with being vegetarian. Being a vegetarian only means not consuming any type of animal meat, they can consume dairy, eggs, honey, and can also wear clothing made from animals, whereas vegans can not do any of that. Comparing the two, you will quickly learn that being vegan is far better than being vegetarian. Health wise, a vegan diet is much better for you. Vegetarians are still able to consume dairy, which contain dietary cholesterol, whereas having a vegan diet normally does not have any cholesterol problems. A vegan diet is good for the heart (3fatchicks.com). Along with the dietary concerns that come with being vegetarian, there are issues that arise with body odor. 3fatchicks explains how being vegan ultimately eliminates odor by saying this “Body odor is often eliminated or greatly reduced by a vegan diet. One exercise we did in class was the Fat Burning Walk. It can be done daily or on the days your body needs to recover from a more intense exercise. For this work out you are walking at a pace that uses 60-70% of your maximum heart rate. First you start off at an easy pace. After that you stretch and then walk again for another 30-60 minutes. The pace should be easy enough to talk in full sentences, but fast enough that you are breathing harder than usual. Walk at a slower pace for about 10 minutes as a cool down, and then stretch again. The main benefit of this walk is that it gets your body to burn its stored fat for energy. Another exercise we did in class was the aerobic walk. This work out should be done about every other day. First you walk at an easy pace for about 10 minutes. Stretch for 5 minutes then continue walking at a pace that uses 70-80% of your maximum heart rate for 30-50 minutes. You should only be able to speak in short sentences. Cool down for 10 minutes at an easy pace then finish up by stretching. The main benefits of this walk are that it improves aerobic fitness, increases the number and size of blood vessels in the muscles and increases your lung power.…
