Introduction: Chapter 1: I’ve chosen this topic because of the vast growing youths of our society and church whose minds have been educated at an earlier stage than those ten years ago. Many youths of the church have absorbed the norms of the secular dating style and must be educated of the benefits of bible based dating and courtship, not disciplined. Although the words “courtship” and “dating” are not found in the Bible, we are given some principles that Christians are to go by during the time before marriage. There is an increasing in trends that threaten marriage, bible based dating and courtship. In order to have a successful marriage we must know how to deal with difficult situations. These difficult situations may involve: equality/ submission concerns, finances, family of origin issues, family planning, Parenting, in-laws, domestic violence, sexuality problems, infidelity, gender issues, health concerns, pornography, house chores, stress, cultural differences, and even sleeping together. Husbands and wives need to identify if they are savers or spenders and should develop a financial plan to discuss their finances on a regular basis. If there are no understanding and flexibility with their finances there can be a budget war. Similar to money the issues of house chores affect marriage more than couples dating, since, a lot more responsibility is demanded by both spouses. House chores are to be shared equally, but some spouses in contemporary marriages challenges the relationships by not cooperating or pulling their weight in their duties. If a vegetarian and a meat eater decides to date or even marry, their relationship is bound to fail since mixed diet issues can severely challenge a relationship. Sexual issues can tear a marriage and couples

In Strengthening Marital Intimacy (1991), he has captured the two foundational truths, intimacy and commitment, makes a good marriage into a great marriage. Most couples when found upon the concept of a wedding are not handed a guide book to a successful loving marriage. Couples appear to have a vague understanding of their commitment to marriage. A long life journey full of unexpected surprises, and adjusting accommodations. Eric Bartels, the author of “My Problem With Her Anger,” contends he feels compelled by the division of household work, and the lack of support from his wife. Such as lack of communication and anger management. Conversely, in “The Difference Between a Happy Marriage and Miserable One: Chores,” Wendy Klein, Carolina Izquierdo, and Thomas N Bradbury describe how different couples within a marriage handle chores, depending on a respect for mutual boundaries, support…

This book was not about marriage advice, but rather an eternal perspective about marriage. We are constantly surrounded by the ways of the world and the adversary doing his best to tempt us so that we may lose our way. When we keep our eyes on the big picture, it helps us to make sense of those days that are trying and troublesome! Our happy ending cannot take place without Christ’s part in it.…

After reading several of my classmate’s posts from last week I have discover that not many of them had premarital counseling and I feel that the following approach will work best. In today’s society so many marriages end in divorce therefore I feel that it is imperative that couples seek marriage counseling before they get married. In Hatcher’s (2014) post she stated “I feel that premarital counseling should be mandatory before couples are able to get married.” Premarital counseling is put in place to have couples understand one another in a deeper more freely way. An Appropriate approach for premarital counseling should be one that explore spiritual beliefs, Christian values, commitment and expectations, how to handle conflict and solving problems, priorities on career, children, money, hobbies, future plans, friends, and stress that a Christian wedding is a scared event. A questionnaire as well as couple exercises and homework given to the couple to better understand when is going on and what areas need work. In Mendez’s post (2014) he stated that he would have “gained the most insight from the opportunity to better understand the future my wife envisioned…” (para. 2). Exploring the future plans with couples would give them some insight of what each one of them have envisioned for their future. A great way to do this would be exercises or homework. According to Hawkins (1991), God intended for the husband and wife to function as a team, but Satan placed a wedge between them; but Christ came to restore man (p.13).…

There were two major historical turning points during this period; Reconstruction and the Industrial Revolution. With the end of the Civil War in 1865 came the Reconstruction Era which lasted until 1877. During this time the federal government attempted to resolve the issues that resulted from the ending of the Civil War. Although physical rebuilding of the region began quickly and rapidly progressed, reconstructing southern society proved to be a much more difficult process. The two major concerns were from the political stand point on how to integrate rebel states back into the nation and from the social stand point on how to integrate 4 million newly freed slaves back into society.…

A company whose voting stock is more than 50% controlled by another company, usually referred to as the parent company or holding company. A subsidiary is a company that is partly or completely owned by another company that holds a controlling interest in the subsidiary company. If a parent company owns a foreign subsidiary, the company under which the subsidiary is incorporated must follow the laws of the country where the subsidiary operates, and the parent company still carries the foreign subsidiary's financials on its books (consolidated financial statements). For the purposes of liability, taxation and regulation, subsidiaries are distinct legal entities.…

I am writing to you with regard to Mr. Adebayo Lawal who has requested that I write a letter of recommendation on his behalf. Adebayo and I discussed his recent decision to pursue graduate studies through your university. I applaud his decision and strong desire to take his dedication and skill to the next level. At AGL Consulting we continually recognize new employees who seek more than a career. They are looking to make their mark in the IT and management industry. They come with dreams of high success and are willing to work hard. However, IT and management industry is quite competitive and often tough to break into. Many with high hopes don’t survive the pressure. Others seem to handle pressure well, but lack creativity, guts or discipline. There is also a great need for these individuals to remain focused on the “big picture” and lead the company toward its goals. Lastly, one must continue to grow and improve personally and professionally to reach the top. Luckily for AGL Consulting we recognize that Adebayo possesses all of the necessary qualities to succeed in this tough business. We have closely watched him develop into a fine leader. Additionally, Adebayo’s desire to stay at the top of his game is clear as he consistently offers a fresh perspective and creative approach to projects. He also approaches his projects by calculating risks and making solid determinations. I have worked with Adebayo for 2yrs.He is also constantly looking for new challenges, skill building and developing a resourceful network of colleagues that respect and admire him. Adebayo is still young to the industry and can be embellish here at times. However, he somehow manages to turn negative events into positive learning experiences and never makes the same mistake twice. He also never gives up and appreciates positive criticism that can only make him grow in the long run. Adebayo does have a few shortcomings—that he is aware of and tries…

Pastoral care and Counseling is one of the important ministries in the Church at any place in the world. Our churches are filled with people who experience crisis, lost, loneliness, anxiety, depression, divorced, and family problems. Pastors have a huge opportunity to help people just by listening and encouraging those in household of faith. In some cases it is just enough to listen and teach biblical principles of living but in the other cases there is the need to be specifically train people for a specialized ministry of counseling with deeper problems.…
