Essay Volunteer WorkDo You Want To
Essay : Volunteer work.
Do you want to help the world or your community? Do you want to build your own skills, make new friends, and learn from new experiences? If you say yes, volunteering would be a good answer for you. It is known that volunteering can make a real difference in the lives of people around you and in your own life. In this essay, I would like to share with you three easy tips which help you to become a good volunteer
Firstly, you should choose a meaningful organization whose tasks fit your skills and interests. There are various kinds of volunteer organizations of different purposes. You can accumulate many new experiences and develop useful skills from volunteer work, especially from the work that you are interested in. Volunteer work does not only involve you in various activities but also help you work towards things that you really concern. You may be working as an environment, animal and wildlife protector, a college governor and even a dog walker
Secondly, attend a formal training or orientation courses if there is any. Its helps you understand more about what is your expectation of the group. Talking with people who you work with, they will give you some experiences that will make your work running smoothly. Get started from small things, you can learn new skills and develop your own self.
Finally, don’t give up. Volunteer organizations sometimes have many problems such as bad management, dull or heavy work, and even irresponsible partners… Try to work it through by dividing work into pieces and get it done step by step. Take a break when you feel exhausted and go back with energy later. Because you will not bring any good to anyone when you feel bad. After all, if it doesn’t work, simply bring it to the header of organization or group leader to ask for help.
In conclusion, volunteer work is beneficial for us, although it’s sometimes not easy at all. However, it is worth doing volunteer work because you won’t know what you can

Building your network will be a vital part of life when trying to find jobs, internships, and make business connections. People you meet through volunteering have the ability to forever affect your life and may well continue to be a part of your life for years to come. Volunteering is similar to work but very different. This is because in volunteering the person does not receive a paycheck to accomplish the work that is needed to be done. The similarity is that an action is taking place no matter if you get paid or not. Many organizations even individuals need help. There are volunteer jobs that just require you to have genuine empathy for those in need. For example, New Orleans is in need of volunteers because of what happened with Hurricane Katrina. Many things were destroyed and many people died, but they are rebuilding and hopefully within time they will succeed in rebuilding. It is not just the rebuilding that needs to be done. Volunteering leaves the individual with a comforting satisfaction that they helped those in need. Unfortunately, not every one can do…

The organization that I volunteered for is called the No Homeless Pets Association; this organization was well organized and helped a lot of animals. The reason I chose this event was because it had to do with animals and it seemed to be the most genuine. These are key points in choosing, if the website seems shady or fake then that would make me not want to chose them. Also I chose the No Homeless Pets was because I have a strong connection with pets, I love my dog very much and I wouldn’t want her to ever be hungry. This motivated me into choosing them. Whenever I was reading their website I was expecting to be comforting pets in need and helping them find a home. That seemed to me like a good way to spend five hours on a Saturday. From the website it said “we provide about a one month supply of cat or dog food for up to 4 dogs and 5 cats per household, for those who qualify” (No Hungry), this gave me a better understanding of what I was actually going to be doing. This showed the generosity of the shelter and assured me that they were good people. Even though in my past I have not done any community service of…

It seems like most people who are trying to persuade you to do volunteer work are always trying to get you at their one specific company or organization. They show you all the benefits of working there and everything you should get out of it, all the reasons why it 's the best place to go. I 'm sure one reason after another goes in one ear and out the other, especially when you have to listen to so many of them. Well today I want to discuss why any volunteer work is important in itself and it 's not so much about where you go or what you do but rather that you go out there and do it. First I will start with the importance of volunteering and why you personally should get involved, then I will talk about why volunteering should be voluntary and at a place that interests you (that 's not something we are used to thinking about but an important point nonetheless), and last tell you about what I learned during my volunteer work and why the Riley Arena Ice Rink in Cody WY is one great option for getting out there and starting to volunteer.…

Nowadays, volunteerism is an important work in many schools. Volunteering means spending some of your free time helping others. You may volunteer to help other people, such as the families who lost their homes after a natural disaster. But you can also volunteer to protect animals, the environment, or any other cause that you care about. School volunteers make an essential contribution to the education of elderly generations. However, it is a controversial issue whether volunteer work brings us any advantages or disadvantages. As for me, every coin has two sides, yet the benefits that volunteer work brings to the participants always outweigh the drawbacks. To clarify this problem, I will make a research with topic: “Solution to attract HUCFL students to take part in volunteer work.” There are three main reasons why I choose this topic. Firstly, I want to more understand about benefits of volunteer work. From there, I can improve my knowledge about volunteer work. Secondly, I would like to find out what is missing in the volunteerism. Thus, I can give some measures to solve these problems. Finally, I want to encourage HUCFL students to participate in volunteer work. Because it helps our lives become more meaningful. My research will answer the following questions:…
