My choice would be to challenge my partner about what happened in the interview room. The outcome seem fair to me; my partner says that he did cross the line and tentionally avoided bringing the parents to make it easier to frighten both suspects, but he is absolutely convinced that they are guilty – you accept this. Both suspects are arrested and bound over for trail. Bail is denied. This way works for me because ethically, you want to follow the law as well as be fair for your partner. I would give my partner the change to make things straight before it becomes bigger than it already is, and not reporting him because he is my partner, and morally our relationship should have an action that’s non-ethical. Just like an organization, many would not usually consider an organization as having ethics.
Ethics within an organization I believe can be just as important, if not more so, than that of an individual. The main reason for this is because an organization has the ability to affect many people, and ranging from employees to customers, all the way through its actions. All these actions can affect the general public. Because of my actions, according to my tutorial, the criminal ingestion has been underway for several months and has received a great deal of publicity. The case has risen to national prominence as an example of how today’s youth no longer respects fundamental social values, television and video game violence has desensitized young men to the consequences of crimes such as assault and rape, and as a demonstration of the inability of the police to keep the streets safe for law-abiding citizens. A conviction will certainly vindicate the police and district attorney’s office handling of the crime. The victim lies in a coma.
