should undocumented immigrants get a pathway to citizenship? Yes, the undocumented immigrants should have a pathway to citizenship. Everyone deserves a chance in life. People deserve a chance because all they want is to be considered equal Americans. Undocumented immigrants should get a path to citizenship because they can improve the economy, it could keep families together, and this is a country of immigrants. Undocumented immigrants should get a path to citizenship. Improve the economy. “Far too many people illegally cross our borders and we turn away too many people who want to legally enter our country people who could invent new technologies, create jobs, boost our economy”. 8 million people our undocumented immigrants in the …show more content…
Families will be torn apart. “Without reform, our immigration laws threaten to tear apart families and force our government to expend precious resource to deport millions”. Without reform, 11 million people live in the state in fear. They say, that the undocumented immigrants should be punished for breaking the law. I say that a good number of people want to get right by the law, but there is no achievable pathway for them to do so. Therefor, the undocumented immigrants didn't break any laws, they actually are trying to fit in. Undocumented immigrants should get a path to citizenship. This is a country of immigrants. “For it to remain so, we need to keep fighting to pass immigration reforms including a solution for undocumented immigrants who are already here” mentioned Charles E. I say all they really want is to be treated like equal citizens because they work hard to improve the economy. They say, undocumented immigrants take the American jobs. Instead i say that undocumented immigrants are capable of working harder and creating more jobs. Of course, they work just as hard as a legal citizen. This is why I think undocumented immigrants should have a pathway to citizenship.
The undocumented immigrants improve the economy in many ways. Families don’t deserve to be torn apart. This is a country of immigrants. The government should change their minds and let undocumented immigrants become equal

As an immigrant myself, I feel that everybody should go through the citizenship process like everyone else. My family and I pay a lot of money to get each and every member in this country to insure ourselves of a better future. For someone or anybody to get a free ride would be unfair for all our hard work. I’m not saying that they do not deserve to be in this country, im saying they should earn it and work hard for it like everybody else.…

Undocumented students should be able to obtain a visa to allow them to work for many reasons; one of them is for them to be able to get financial aid and pursue their dreams. There are many undocumented students that are in universities all over this country that are forced to dropped off for not having the money to continue paying for their education. Imagine living in the U.S. as an illegal immigrant with a nice family and a job then BANG! That person does one small thing wrong he, or she could get deported from their families and anything they ever worked for just because they didn’t have a green card. secondly In the U.S. there are many illegal immigrants being deported from their families and losing everything just because becoming a U.S. citizen is a lot harder then some people would think. In summary illegal immigrants should be able to stay in the U.S. because it is inhumane to deport these individuals from their families, across the U.S. undocumented workers perform a critical role in U.S. Economy; lastly, amnesty is not the best solution to our immigration problem but it is the only reasonable solution.…

If illegal immigrants prosper it is because they have earned it. They stole no one’s job they have worked slowly and build their empire. If some illegal immigrants have succeeded than actual residents or citizens it is because their hard work payed off. Their hard work of working long hours without overtime pay and the cost of late night ambitions. These are only few examples of why illegal immigrants deserve to be here in the United Stated. Illegal immigrants are willing to loose every right they have, risk their lives, and get paid a misery to be here. In fact, illegal immigrants are called Mojados which in english means wetbacks. Wetbacks because we swim a river to get here. Little do people know that people from Central America are called 3 Veses Mojados. They are called 3 Veses Mojados because they have to cross more than one border. Just imagine the high risk it is to cross from Mexico to the United States now only imagine from Central America. Illegal immigrants coming from Central America have to go through all these high risk three times. So yes they have every right to be here just like everyone…

Are illegal immigrants or undocumented immigrants beneficial to America’s economy? Most illegal immigrants have a positive impact on the United States (U.S.) economy. Illegal immigrants have a positive impact on the United States economy because they increase our tax revenue, they add to our social security, and they also increase our employment rates.” In 2000, statistics revealed 8.7 million illegal immigrants resided in the United States” (Knickerbocker pgs.11-12). “A study of illegal immigrants living in Texas showed a 420 million dollar increase in the states economy” (Strayhorn). Companies risk hiring illegal immigrants because they are more than willing to work when companies need them (Chaddock 24-25). This should not be the case in our society because the United States should is a giving nation and we should provide available jobs for all that want to better themselves.…

I believe that there should be a law made for immigrants to become US citizens. I agree with Hillary Clinton when she states " I promise to protect many immigrants from being deported" I think anybody that wants to be president should consider this statement. Also, the senate had a majority of them to vote for an immigration law. 68 agreed and 32 disagreed, Which means that the senate might pass a law for immigrants to become US citizens. I want a law to be passed because it is completely uncalled for when people want immigrants to be kicked out of the US. especially if they have a family or a good job that they can make a living off of. Another reason is because if they are feeling unsafe because of war, poverty and violence. This is why…

These immigrants break the law through manipulation of legal documents and just coming in here without going through the proper legal routes, they have less power to protect themselves through legal means, and history has shown that amnesty just does not work. As a country, we must reform immigration to incentivise legal immigration and make it harder to maintain the American dream through illegal means. In response to new applicants, we must put a higher priority towards legal immigration and make sure that everyone has an equal chance at coming in with legal papers and a good American life. Again, everyone deserves freedom. However, if cutting the line to citizenship is a valid option, legal and social reform in the future is definitely…
