Mrs. Mallard has a different point of view when it come to the death of her husband. Mrs. Mallard is afflicted with a heart problem and if someone had bad news for her then they have to be careful while telling her. When she found out that her husband had passed away she was upset and sad at first because she did not realize that at that time she would be free. Mallard’s death at the end of the story is another unexpected twist. Readers wouldn't expect that she would be the one that actually died at the end of the story. At the beginning of the story she finds out that her husband supposedly passed away. Then to turn out that he did not actually die in the accident.
