Essay On Simulated Violence
For years kids have been playing aggressive games on their XBoxes, playstations, Wii’s and more but it’s always been an issue weather the games being played are appropriate for kids of that age. Stimulated violence in games are not an issue for children and can in fact be beneficial. Reasons for this are that it’s a healthy way to release emotions, and it educates kids on violent things early. Regardless of the facts proving that violent games are a healthy diversion for kids some people still believe they are not okay but here is why that is wrong.

If the parents are not taking steps to teach kids that the things they are seeing are fake, and should not happen in real life, it is not the fault of the game. Erik Kain from “Do Games Like ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ Cause Real-World Violence’ says, “If it were as simple as saying ‘violent video games kill people!’ then we’d really be in trouble...If it were true, millions of your neighbors, kids, and co-workers would be violent killers. So far as i can tell, this is not the case.” In fact, if kids are exposed the these “bad” things early, they will become more educated on “real world events.” The kids will not be oblivious to these scary topics and they will understand what is right and wrong, but if parents can express that.
As is it clear to see, simulated violence games are not a problem for children and can even be a healthy, happy way to spend their time. It is a possible emotion reliever, to get rid of stress and anger at the end of the day. Even when they’re young, kids can’t always rely on a stress ball to squeeze. Children can also be exposed to these things early so they know what is good and bad. Clearly real world violence in young kids as they grow up is in no way linked to violent
