How would it be like if you weren’t allowed to choose what happens to your future? Some women do not get the luxury of choosing for themselves due to some laws set and they do not get the option whatsoever. That should be different as women are the ones who carry the babies, not the ones who are voting against it. Even though the baby never had the chance to live life, women should have the right to choose what they want to do with their baby because it may be bad for the women herself to have to care of a baby, they may not be prepared for a baby, and we do not know their circumstances of the situation.…

Whoever assists in the act of abortion must be sentenced. Do not let the thought of mercy corrupt your minds, for if an abortionist were granted acquittal, his detestable work will be encouraged instead of outlawed. Due to unwanted pregnancies and financial distress, many children are often mistreated and neglected which leads to the idea of abortion as the right decision. Mistreatment and neglect to the child may occur from the mother because the child resembles his or her father, which will be a continuous reminder of what happened (Meehan, Mary 1). It is also not right for a woman to have to go through full-term pregnancy with a child that has been conceived through rape (Maheen, Mary 3). Abortion is necessary for women who have fallen victim to rape or for women who are not financially able to support a family.…

Abortion is a complex matter that some people considered it to be as controversial as the issue of slavery. Abortion is no longer a new subject; it has been around for over twenty years, yet it is still one of the top subjects in debates today. On one side of the matter are the abortionists. Their main argument is that a woman should have the right to do what she wants with her body. Their opposition, the people against abortion believe that killing the fetus is just like murdering a human being. Over the years Americans have been evenly split up over the subject, many of them thinking that it can never be solve. My opinion is that abortion should be banned with the exception for when it is used to save the mother's life.…

Abortion has been a heavily debated political, ethical, and moral dispute continuing for more than a decade after it was legalized in the United States in January 22, 1973. This decade long debate between “pro-life” activists and “pro-choice” activists usually stem from ones ethical and moral values of whether it is right to surgically or medicinally terminate a fetus and the extremes, like death of the mother, which could occur from the pregnancy. In this debate, I would view myself as a “pro-choice” activist because I firmly believe that abortion should continue to be legal to decrease the number of unintended mothers, broken or single parent families, and family poverty.…

What is an abortion? Should abortions be legal in the United States? An abortion is the termination of a pregnancy. Today, abortion is one of the most controversial topics in the United States, some people believe abortions should be illegal, but abortions are legal nationwide. My opinion is that abortions should be illegal because an unborn baby should have a chance at life just like the two who conceived it. Abortions should be illegal because there are ways to prevent a pregnancy, it is the killing of a living human being, murder, and it’s a possibility that a woman can have complications after an abortion including psychological trauma.…
