Essay On Senior Project
The senior project was a challenge simply because the type of research needed was foreign for me. I had researched a few things in past courses but never like this. This project showed me I am not as disciplined as I once was. The senior project has been a revealing process, too. Both in identifying weaknesses as well as strengths. The skill set for attention to detail had gone lax, for me. Which was an area where I could be more attentive. Although, those are areas where I am somewhat weak. I also noticed my strength in assessing the important aspects of an article and then utilizing the information in my writing.
The senior project taught me the importance of narrowing your scope to ensure the proper information is used. This project has been very influential in helping me understand the organization aspect of this program. The ability to gather information then form that information into an intelligent idea, through research, referencing, and tweaking, of course.
The senior project however tedious and monotonous at times was extremely instrumental in allowing my opportunity to gain knowledge on a subject which is beneficial for my own dreams, but affords me the chance to help a

I was called to this program by my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I would have never chose this program. It is so far outside of my usual character. I have fought every step of the way. This is funny, recalling my journey through this program. Prior to completing the OL program I would refer to myself as stubborn. However, now with only three weeks until my last class of the OL program I consider myself determined. The ability to view myself positively and in a positive light. Even though, I dislike standing in front of others and speaking; I made myself do just that. I am working on changing myself into the person I want to

Throughout the project, I have had a phenomenal time. The beginning of the project allowed me to understand how most of the things that assist people today came about, and how we could change the world through the designs we build. The step by step design process allowed us to seek opportunities to help people by looking at the pains, looking at what has been done in the past to solve the pains, then addressing the pains through engineering design methods. The organizational board design was not the first design I wanted to work on, but I am glad that it was the project I worked on. I originally came up with an idea for organizing paperwork at StoneCrest, but nobody jumped onto the design. Then, since there was only a group of two people, and the group I chose to be with originally had five, I ended up joining Jake and Morgan and forming Simplex Solutions. We were able to work together and take various skills of ours, which included CAD, presentation, and machining, and create a design that brought organization to StoneCrest medical center.…

In my case, I would state that I dont need any more chiefs on this project when I need Indians for the tribe. Meaning I have enough eyes on me, but I could use some help in on the actual project itself. I would think if they trusted Jim with a project like this they would have given him the reigns and stop hovering over his shoulder. In a since, with the appointment of Bob Petroski and sally Fukuyama on the team they have all but taken away the full credit of the project of Jim. They have forced Jim into a lose-lose situation. The success of the project would be taken by the cronies of the department head and the Chief operating officer and the failure would fall solely into Jims lap. Now as a senior on his way to graduate I can’t believe how quickly time has gone. I guess Ms. Burnett was right, senior year does fly by. Though his year was quick it was also difficult. Reason for that was because I was assigned one of the hardest projects I’ve ever had to do. That project was a thesis paper. My thesis paper was about a firefighter policy regarding first responders in 9/11. The paper helped me with my ability to investigate the world because I had to learn more about how 9/11 affected first responders and civilians. I also developed college and career readiness skills by being able to learn how to effectively cite any material from reliable sources. This skill will be extremely useful in future classes in college for thesis…

I graduated from Moanalua High School with an Honor Diploma because I reached the requirements and I also did Senior Project. To me, Senior Project helped me choose what I really want to become in the future, which is to become a Pediatric Neurologist. By taking Senior Project, I got to shadow my Pediatric Neurologist doctor and learn what he does for a living and what made him want to become who is now. In Hawaii, there are only five Pediatric Neurologist in total, counting my doctor, in the State of Hawaii. My dream career is being a Dental Assistant. I'm pursuing that by attending LCTI for Dental Technology. As a senior, I have realized that all along, the dentistry field has been one of my many interests. Now that I am 17 and graduating in the next couples of months, I have decided that the Dental Assistant is the career pathway that I am most interested in and would like to pursue further after graduation. Unlike many children, growing up as a child I have always enjoyed going to the dentist office for my teeth cleanings. In pursuing this occupation, I understand that there are many personality traits that I must present. Since Dental Assistant are around people each day at work, a dental assistant must be outgoing, ambitious and willing to interact with several different types of people.…

Overall, this experience was very rewarding because we created nothing into something and as a result our project helped families who generally have lower incomes have the necessary school supplies for their children to be successful in school without forcing them to give up something else up. This project has opened my eyes to things happening around me and allowed me to become a more active and engaged community member while I was able to delve deeper into something that I'm interested and passionate…

My Name is Brittany Larkin and for my senior project I have chosen to do How Music Impacts Drugs on My Community. My motivation for this project is that today’s society has changed over the years, and more and more I see not only some of my fellow classmates, and my friends, but my family members’ usage of drugs impact over the years. One day I’m walking home from school and a group of young boys about my little brothers age so I say about 11-12 years old smoking and rapping “ I said wait hold up please let me roll up” and thinking to myself did that music make them want to smoke drugs or was it the drugs that decided the type of music they listened to. More and more new songs about drugs have come out come out for example the molly dance, and I myself have noticed ever since the song has been released more and more people find it fascinating to want to do a “Molly” because it seemed cool and the rappers. People they look up to have tried it or claimed they tried it. I think it’s not just rap music though that impacts drugs; I think every genre has a different impact on drugs. That’s another reason why I chose this particular project to see if it’s just rap music, and if indeed it is I want to know what are the different solutions we can take to change this. Maybe less drugs and more successful things in music like staying in…

The most important thing I learned from this experience is the key role of a project leader, a person who could select the right people in the team, coordinate the relationship between client team and technology team, monitor the progress to ensure not shift to the target. Without such a leader, although we had world-class technology team and emotion, this project finally failed. The particular experience is important to me because I am aware that I am lack of project management skill to maximum my solid technology skills to well sever my clients. This is a major…

For my senior project I took on the task of rebuilding a 2007 Polaris 700 snowmobile. It was a challenge working on a new kind of machine, all of my previous mechanical experience being on motorcycles. I decided to step out of the box and try something new! Difficulties came along with this decision from lack of knowledge on the simple make up of parts that comprise a snowmobile, to a basic problem with tools available at my house. Luckily I have friends and family members that are very knowledgeable in all motorized vehicles and these folks came in handy when I would get stuck during the process of swapping most every stock part on the sled out for aftermarket upgrades.…
