The movie Schindler’s List is based of the book Schindler’s Ark by Thomas Keneally. The main character is Oskar Schindler a member of the Nazi Party. The movie was directed by Steven Spielberg featured Liam Neeson as Oskar Schindler. In 1939, Oskar Schindler, a German businessman who moved to Krakow with the hopes of opening a factory. With some help from Itzhak Stern, he manages to find a way. Schindler manages to charm high ranking political soldiers called Schutzsaffel, or SS of the Nazi Party in order to protect his business. Schindler goes to Itzhak Stern for help in his business adventure. Itzhak Stern was an employee for Krakow’s Jewish Council with knowledge about business. Those who did not comply to this new order were shot. Amon Goeth only wanted the Jews who could work. Those who could not including the sick and elderly, were shot or brought to concentration camps where they would be gassed. Schindler watched this madness from a far distance with his mistress in utter disgust. This is when Schindler knew he had to become alliances with Goeth in order to keep his factory in service. In Plaszow, Goeth’s concentration camp, Goeth would execute Jews spontaneously without a reason. Due to the fact Goeth took all of Schindler’s workers to the new concentration camp, Schindler convinced Goeth to supply some workers resulting in Schindler’s own little camp. Whenever Schindler would visit Goeth, he would talk to Stern, who was working as Goeth’s accountant. Schindler would hear stories about mistreated Jews and try to move them to his camp away from Goeth. During Stern and Schindler’s meetings, Schindler would sneak cigarettes and other gifts to his friend in offer of good faith. Goeth realized how much Schindler was liked by the Jews, he tried his ways of managing a peaceful camp but that did not last very
