An increase in the popularity of aesthetic dentistry has been resulting in many patients seeking dental treatments for the improvements of unaesthetic and visually compromised smiles. From the days of need dentistry to now a days, many more patients are seeking need dentistry, this results in requiring the dentist to achieve a better understanding and thorough understanding of the treatment. Now, patients not only visit dental offices for pain, discomfort and the treatment of carious lesions, but also dental procedures that will enhance the aesthetics of healthy teeth. Therefore, the approach of restorative dentistry has changed with the development of new techniques with new materials to meet the demands of patients and allow clinicians to achieve amazing aesthetic improvements and clinical successful results. A common notion is many dentists do not offer or perform such tasks. May it be a lack of experience, or not wanting to deal with demanding patients, many aesthetic dental procedures are commonly referred to other dentists. However, when treatment planned properly, planned accordingly, and executed with the key principles in mind, porcelain veneers are the most successful dental treatment.
