Essay On Law Enforcement Interview

Nestled away in the hilly, beautiful community of Anaheim Hills, California resides my longtime friend Officer David Trujillo. While driving along Santa Ana Canyon Road I noticed much bright green vegetation along the side of the road on the hills, a sight that had been rare in Orange County for some time. While entering the parking lot of a local Starbucks I quickly noticed the abundance of bright shiny, sporty luxury cars all throughout the shopping center. Upon walking inside the Starbucks, I was consumed by the bold scent of freshly brewed coffee. Looking around the shop I then spotted David while he was standing up to greet me. Officer David Trujillo is a law enforcement officer in the city of Inglewood, California located in Los Angeles County. He was dressed very casual with a blue collared button up shirt, black shorts, and basketball sneakers. Majoring in criminal justice, but with a specific interest in joining law enforcement, I was fortunate enough to have David as a friend who has been working as a law enforcement officer for a few years. It had given me more of an inside honest real look at law enforcement in comparison with what I can learn from a textbook. As a criminal justice major with aspirations to become a law enforcement officer this interview helped solidify my goal. Although the career is full of many obstacles and challenges they are not anything that intimidates me. It is one of the very few careers that you have a direct opportunity to make a difference in the community. As long as I continue on the right path I believe one day that will be me sitting on the other side of the table at Starbucks being interviewed by a college
