Essay On Halloween Legend

Why is a legend mysterious? Why would I, Jaimie be thrown into well for a legend, but it actually changed things about me. October 24 about a week before Halloween by two best friends Sammy and Saige wanted to do something fun for Halloween instead trick-or-treating or just going to a party. We wanted to do something fun but scary. So we looked every town and website to see what we could fun we could do. As we walk it didn’t seem so scary now I couldn’t really see where the monsters were so I couldn’t prepare myself for being scared. Now their was this woman with black cloak and had blue glow in the dark skin she was introducing the audience to the story of Sleepy Hollow and warning us not to stray or else you will be scared to death. Also, telling us about the strange and dangerous monster lerking about.As walking Saige, Sammy, and I went through a farm and there were 3 women dancing around a floating table and saying a spell and walked up to me and screamed in my face but the witch’s face was in a decreased look so it was a little bit scary. But moving in deeper into more of the setting it was getting more darker and unpredictable if the monsters are going to scare you or not. Once we reached but of the show we were walking through a graveyard and all of a sudden a bright light was focused on this one grave and a body was sitting inside of it and staring straight ahead and when i walked up to the coffin and i jumped right out of the coffin and fell on the floor. That felt like the most terrifying thing in my life. Later on we approached a corn field once walking up to it my stomach was turned into knots and my conscience was telling me not to go into the cornfield but at the same time i wanted to venture in it. Once going into the cornfield it felt like the darkness was destroying me from the inside. Now waiting for the monsters to scare me but there was nothing not one sound until something grabbed me and pulled me into the corn stalks.
