Essay On Being An American Citizen

My responsibility to being an American citizen is two have a job and fix cars. Fixing cars is a major job and I don’t think that someone should do a half job on it because if you don’t have a car that’s properly running it could potentially mess up and injure people even yourself and others around you. One thing I think is a responsibility of being an American citizen is to have a job. Because if we all have jobs no one will be going hungry, there will be more responsible citizens and I think less crime involving stealing because if you don’t have a job you would probably have to steal to get by and be able to live off that and stealing items from a place or person would have to make them spend more money and it just makes everything absolutely worse.
Being around cars and motorcycles my whole life has really changed my view on things. Me and my brother were having a discussion about being a mechanic and having a role in fixing cars. If you are working on a car you shouldn’t just half fix it you should do all of it properly and make sure it runs and drives. Because if something happens their life depends on yours for working on their vehicle which is getting them to their jobs and other things they have to do in their daily routine. Then if their cars break down they won’t be able to make it to their jobs making them potentially to lose their job. I think everyone in America should be able to perform maintained on their cars or know how to change a tire. There have been times were people over the age of 18 who don’t even know how to change their oil or their tire. There was a car I saw once on the highway with my dad and the lady was probably around her late 20’s and she didn’t know how to change her tire because it blew out on the road, if she knew how to she probably wouldn’t have been late to work that
