Essay On Becoming A Therapeutic Counselor
Since I was in high school I have possessed a strong desire to become a Therapeutic Counselor. My career aspiration has been predominantly motivated my desire to help other individuals. Liberty University’s online Master of Arts in Professional Counseling program is placing me on tract to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
During my online research for an accredited program, I discovered Liberty University’s Masters of Arts Professional Counseling Program. The online program captured my attention based on several factors. The online Master of Arts of Professional Counseling program in combination with a few other programs in the helping profession field is currently ranked 5th in the nation. The ranking combined with the program in the final stages of becoming CAAREP accredited are factors that have affected my decision to enroll in the Spring semester. These contributing factors as well as the tuition rate of the private University and the proximity the school is to my home have all pushed me to peruse my graduate degree from Liberty University.
My academic record as well as my career in the Human Service Field will prove to be an advantage for me. After graduation
