They are more comfortable with technology than baby boomers. They are ambitious and value work/life balance. They are also entrepreneurial and eager to learn new skills related to their career. They seek fun and meaningful work. Gen-Xers are sceptics and expect change. They also require frequent and specific feedback.
Millennials/Generation Y- Millennials are the people who are born between1981-2000. Millennials just want to do interesting work that will make a difference. They are usually tech-savvy, confident, well networked and achievement-oriented. Millennials aren’t shy people and they are not afraid to express their opinions. They are motivated more by accomplishments and less by money. They like to work in teams and are learning-oriented.
Gen 2020- Gen 2020 is the generation of people who are born after 2000. This will be the new workforce by 2020. The people of this generation are highly educated and technology oriented. Gen 2020 is also highly active on social networking sites. Peers recommendation carry the most weight to them. And like the Millennials they are also comfortable in doing group projects.
