Essay for Japan

ESSAY
Japan, a country that shows us even through hard times, even a great war, could rise up from the ashes and be one of greatest countries in the world. They have shown us their intellectual knowledge about advancement in technology, technology that we today, use throughout our daily lives. Their culture has shaped the minds of people from all over the world, sharing their skills and creativity through means of modern day mediums. This, and other unique attributes of the Japanese, has made them a global success.
Before I even reach there, I would prepare myself for that “Culture Shock”. Every country is different and our values and teaching here are different from theirs. It is important to know the proper attitude when visiting different countries, for one wrong move can disrespect them, and in Japan, respect is an important value.
I know some about Japan, for I myself like others, read and watch their creations. These “Manga” are the comics of the east and “Anime” are their version of cartoons of the west. I want to visit Japan, to learn more about their culture, their way of life. It is different from learning things from reading a book or watching a video. I want to go there and see what makes them, a great nation. Their culture amazes me for they are one of the oldest civilizations in the world. They are disciplined people and their values are great examples for us. The things I would learn from them, I will use to aim my life at a higher goal and to reach there with their great values.
During our stay there, I would observe how they live their lives from day to day. I would ask for their teachings and maybe share some about ours. It is wonderful to interact with a different person, especially if this person lived in a different world than ours. Sharing thoughts about our culture and theirs, I could see what makes them different and if not better than us at some level. These experiences are never forgotten and sometimes
