Essay: Can College Students Become Successful
Is it possible for college to become successful like Sacramento State University? It is possible if student possess the habit of mind for being curious to want to learn more in order to gain knowledge. College students also need to possess the habit of mind for being persistent to be interested in learning more in college. Engagement can make college student become more involve in learning by participating more in activities like answering and asking question. Persistent is also necessary to become successful in college like participate in group work to discuss with your group and finishing a group project. Openness and engagement can motivate college to be involve in participating by asking question and answering it from the professor during lecture. For starter, my professor from English Writing Class in Consumes River College would consider new way of thinking about topic that student might be interest like reading handout about a comic book character called Batman and it would make me want to participate in answering the question about the handout. College student can also do a better job at participate by doing group work by being more engage and openness. For instance, my professor in social work class would assign me to do group work on a project, but I need to be more engage and openness to discuss with my group to finish my project to become successful. College can become successful by having these four habit of mind for college students to be successful. These four habits of minds is known to be engagement, curiosity, openness, and persistent. Persistent and curiosity can make college encouraged them to learn to become more educated. Learning education can be enjoyable like watching video lecture while drinking and eating at the same time with laptop in college. Hopefully more college can become successful with these four know habit of minds that these college student
