Essay Against Abortion Pro Life
Abortion has been a dominant discussion in modern and ancient time. Somehow, we never hear the end of it. An abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. Abortion in the United States should be legal up until 24 weeks if the woman was raped or her life is in danger. If the woman does not meet these criteria, she should have 12 weeks to contemplate abortion because this is the woman's right and the government should not block this practice.
Opponents who identify themselves as pro-life would argue that this practice is the “immoral killing of an innocent human being” (ProCon). Many of pro-life supporters do not understand that even if abortion is illegal, abortions will still happen. Will they go to a doctor who knows how to do the operation safe and effectively? No, they will fall under the same category of the 70 thousand maternal deaths per year from unsafe abortions. Its contradicting to be a pro-life supporter because in the end, you will be causing more deaths.
Pro-choice supporters understand women do not always have control on being concepted. Women should also have abortion available to them in times of need. For instance, if a woman was rapped, she should have the option of abortion. She should not be able to have more than 24 weeks to make up her mind.

This could cause problems for women in that city and the outskirts. This could “prevent some women who live there from obtaining abortions and delay others’ abortions” (Cunningham). Losing abortion clinics can cause the patients to have a farther commute to receive their medical need. This could be considered a financial difficulty to some people who could not afford the transportation. This is unnecessary time added to the operation and some women would be forced to forgo the operation all together. This may be the plan for the legislatures, but it has previously been proven to you that abortions should remain
