I cannot believe how quickly October has come and that I am in the middle of my internship. My internship with Morgan State University’s Athletic Marketing Department has been a wonderful experience and I would recommend doing an internship with the department to any interested MSU student, looking to get some real field experience. I was able to implement what I have learned in the classroom to my internship, as well as mentor with, and assist the director, Mr. Robert Anderson, directly. This has truly been an awesome and rewarding experience. In addition to my office and game day assignments, I have the opportunity to meet with different company representatives who exclusively speak and seek student athletes.

As a past president of the College Athletics Business Managers Association, she was named the College Athletic Business Manager of the Year in 2003 and has since served on various committees including the ACC Finance Committee and chairs the NCAA Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee. She has worked with the University of Miami for the past 20 years and is currently the Chief Fiscal Officer for the Department and is a member of the executive management team.
