Essay: A Career In Reproductive Endocrinology
Every morning, when I turn over and slowly open my eyes, I am excited to see the familiar orange tint peaking in from the rising sun; the sun represents a new day and allows another opportunity to live, learn, and make new mistakes. I take on every day with positivity because there are always more opportunities for me to affect peoples’ lives and to better my own. In the future, once I have completed school and the essential training, I want to pursue a career in reproductive endocrinology—the fancy term for helping women start families. However, the encouragement for my career choice has been lacking recently. A few months ago, I got a job as a pharmacy technician. This is valuable experience considering the medical career I want to pursue.
