PEST ANALYSIS ASSIGNMENT - INSTRUCTIONS TASK To develop an external environmental analysis of your Country of origin based on the PoliticalEconomic-Social-Technological framework (PEST Analysis), so as to identify and synthesize the main macro-environmental phenomena potentially affecting competition in the geographical area under scrutiny. The PEST Analysis carried out shall combine the following characteristics: o country-specific, providing a general overview of the macro-environmental phenomena and trends with a potential cross-industry effect; o Mobile Telecommunications Industry-specific, detailing the previously identified national macro-phenomena and trends for the Mobile Industry in your Country, thus highlighting and assessing their impacts on your Mobile national market; o specifically, the perspective to be taken in the analysis is that of a potential Mobile Start-Up interested in entering your Mobile national market to develop Mobile Applications. All presentations should at least contain the following country-specific key data (updated to 2012 or even 2013 where possible): o o o o o o o o Population Gross Domestic Production (GDP) – current prices Gross Domestic Production (GDP) – purchasing power parity (PPP) Gross Domestic Production (GDP) Growth Rate on a 3 years basis (2009-2010-2011-2012?) Gross Domestic Production (GDP) Per Capita – current prices Gross Domestic Production (GDP) Per Capita – purchasing power parity (PPP) Unemployment Rate Inflation Rate
