Inappropriate information should be reported to site foremen which then if it involve the plans the architect is contacted. Unsuitable resources are reported to site foremen which he/she will advise you what to do.

Criteria 2.1:Describe your responsibilities under current legislation and official guidance whilst working:

Having the correct PPE available with materials and substances – Using the correct PPE and reading the risk assessment with movement/storage of materials – movement of materials should be done by the forklift. Storage of materials should be kept dry and secure by manual handling and mechanical lifting - avoid the need to lift, carry, push, pull, lower or support loads wherever possible, if more than 25kg get another person to help lift or use trolleys, barrows, lifts or hoists. mechanical lifting should be used if trolleys, barrows, lifts or hoists can't and to place materials on scaffolding loading bays.

Criteria 2.2:Describe the organisational security procedures for tools, equipment and personal belongings in relation to site, workplace, company and operative.

Its your own responsibility to look after your tools, a lock up is provided on site which is used at your own risk.

Criteria 2.3:State what the accident reporting procedures are and who is responsible for making reports.

Reporting a injuring or near miss in the Accident Report Book, yourself or a first aider is responsible for reporting it.

Criteria 3.2:Explain why and when personal protective equipment (PPE) should be used, relating to erecting masonry structures, and the types, purpose and limitations of each type.

Criteria 3.3:State how emergencies should be responded to in accordance with organisational authorisation and personal skills when involved with fires, spillages, injuries and other task-related hazards.

If there is a fire on site an alarm should be sounded and everyone on site should gather at the fire assembly point....
