Equality In Chrysanthem By Ayn Rand

Equality 7-2521 knows that his invention will help mankind, but that was not his initial purpose while doing his experiments. During his experiments, he had a lot of pride and was joyful when he found out about the light bulb and electricity; however, he doesn’t like how people are using it for society. Equality doesn’t like this because during his experiments he only wanted it for himself, which shows a lot of selfishness. His primary motivation was to use the light and electricity for himself because he wanted to have something nobody else had while he was in the tunnel. Equality is right for thinking this way because everybody should have something that they own or have for themselves. If everybody in our society was like Equality, then the society could possibly more advanced. Equality’s main motivation is for him to use the electricity and light in the tunnel by himself. One reason of this is because he wants to be different than everybody else in his city because they are following the rules and listening to what the government

If the world were the same, then the world could be more advanced by everybody thinking differently and coming up with new ideas about new inventions and paraphernalia. By thinking this way, people could have more educated views on things resembling politics or school education. People would be this way for the reason that everybody can view inventions uniquely than anybody else, which can lead to more modern, improved versions of the previous
