From north to south it comprises Roosevelt, Dunes, Venice, and Francis Beaches. The 181-acre park was established in 1956.
On the Saturday morning of June 16, 2012 my girlfriend and I set out from Stockton, CA down to Half Moon Bay, CA in my (terrible for the environment) Chevy Blazer. After about 2 hours of driving we arrived to an astounding view. The cool ocean breeze flowed past us. And honestly, there were a ton of people. I observed a few birds, grasses, plants and wildflowers and beautiful rock formations.

Were all Mexican and live on the lower end of the middle class
As a result we tend not to throw away things we can still use
Except for my brother and sister, who do not remember living in Mexico and are very wasteful
I basically live at my girlfriend’s and as a result I am rarely home

Each x represents the kind of garbage we throw away
If there are 11 x’s on the table and the household average garbage weight is 217Lbs

217 Lbs. / 11 = 19.73 per x
Summary

From this I have discovered just how wasteful we really are. All the aluminum soda cans, food packaging,

As soon as I feel the sun’s warmth on my face peeking over from behind the rim of Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, I am wide awake. I open my tent to see deep, vivid reds and pinks, along with bright oranges and yellows and the luminous sun in the middle of nature’s masterpiece. Although it is only around forty degrees this morning, I can feel my heart burning with the desire to explore the various park features. It is only my first day at Crater Lake, and I can already feel myself beginning to love this unique, wonderful place.…

The day begins bright and early. The sounds of the birds chirping, mixing with the warm glow of the sun shining through my tent, act as my alarm clock for the day. As I exit the tent, I inhale a deep breath of the crisp mountain air. It feels cool and fresh in my lungs. The campground is packed full of random campers from all across California and Nevada. This is defiantly the busiest time of the year for Lake Tahoe Valley Camping Resort. Being so close to the big blue lake, there is no way I am going to miss the most incredible display of fire works in all of California.…

Environmental Studies 190 has been an extremely beneficial course to me. This was my first quarter at the University of California, Santa Barbara as a transfer student. My first quarter was difficult for me because I was not accustomed to the pace of the system. I came from a community college that was on the semester system. There were a few classes that I was not as excited to attend every week. This course was not one of them. I was excited to come to class every Wednesday to come and listen to the wonderful people who donated their time to speak to students.…

“How are you feeling right now?” My father asked, I replied, “Excited.” This was in fact, an understatement. I had never seen or been to a natural reservation so highly known as the Grand Canyon. I have always been the type of person who enjoyed going camping or staying outside, appreciating the presence of nature. It was great news to hear. After weeks of planning, our family was on the road heading out to the Grand Canyon. After each hour, the lands we were crossing seemed to become more absent from human civilization. The expanding rocky prairie whizzed pass the car windows and reminded us of the purity of the land. Soon enough, we made it into Arizona, and then, finally, our destination.…

The summer of 2009, my family hopped into my little car looking forward to a peaceful outdoors vacation, our destination, a tranquil cabin located in Summersville, West Virgina. The area was spectacular, the cabin quaint, the water blissfully inviting, everything was just perfect, we found our own little utopia. Many days we would hike down to the lake enjoying picnics atop the gently sun warmed boulders as the soft breeze caressed our faces. It was sensationally relaxing, I had but a care in the world, until we came across that magnificent 43 foot waterfall.…

Landfill gas is generated during the decomposition of organic substances in municipal and industrial wastes. Since it is made up of powerful greenhouse gases, primarily methane gas and carbon dioxide, the prevention of escape to atmosphere is desirable and has the added benefit of being utilised as a renewable energy source (Clarke Energy, 2014). One such company focussed on dealing with this issue is Landfill Gas Industries Pty Ltd (L.G.I. Pty Ltd) they are ‘a specialist designer, supplier, installer, and operator of systems that capture, extract and burn gas produced in landfills’ (L.G.I. Pty Ltd, 2014). L.G.I. Pty Ltd has several opportunities that could impact the company’s operations in Australia, such as government regulation, the number of councils and landfills available and the fact that all landfills require a solution to the landfill gas problem. However L.G.I. Pty Ltd also has several threats potentially impacting its operations, for example from large energy generators, large waste companies and opposition to landfill gas.…
